I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sydney, Australia (1980-1986) at the NSW College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
That was followed by a two year internship in China (Red Cross Hospital in Hangzhou and Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu)
My next step was traveling through the rural regions of China on foot and with a small tent, studying with a number of Chinese Barefoot Doctors. While traveling through Tibet, I had numerous amazing encounters with traditional Tibetan healers.
Following my wandering years, I worked in my own clinic in Switzerland (where I was born) for the past 35 years, offering Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture; various therapeutic massage techniques and foot reflexology. My specialty is Pulse Diagnosis as taught by Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I am also a very enthusiastic world traveler and spent many years exploring numerous European countries; the US; Canada; South Pacific Islands; New Zealand and Australia; the Canary Islands; Bali; Thailand; Nepal; India and Costa Rica.
For the past five years, I spent every winter in Mexico.
I have fallen in love with this country and its people and culture, and I have decided to make Mexico my home, and to continue my work here.
It is beautiful Ajijic, Mexico, that I am moving to.
I have been living and thriving on raw foods (fruit, vegetables, avocados, nuts, seeds and sprouts) for over 35 years.
I have personally witnessed both in myself and with my patients what this type of diet and lifestyle can do to create vibrant, lasting health and turn around difficult health issues.
My education is ongoing. I am continuously learning from indigenous people and traditional healers. And most of all from Mother Nature! And from my patients!
